GTA Hidden Interiors FAQ
  1. "I can't get through the ceiling of the gym. How do I do it?"
Are you in the GANTON gym down the road from Denise's house? If so there are a few ceiling panels missing in the gym. You can see the black sky outside. The most convenient one is in the corner by the door and treadmill.
  2. "I can't find Denise's house. I'm standing where you say the marker should be, but it's not there. Where is it?"
If you're looking for marker 2, then you're not looking for Denise's House. You're looking for a yellow marker which leads to a brothel. It's positioned around the area of Denise's House on a gym-aligned map.
You won't find it on the ground either. it's at the same hight as the Gym interior way up high in the sky.
  3. "I can't fly from the gym to marker 2. Why do I keep falling?"
Did you KILL the 4 boxers in the gym? Doing this is what causes the glitch that allows you to fly at this height.
  4. "I can't get to a marker because I'm hitting invisible walls. What am I doing wrong?"
Anything solid in the game is always solid, whether it is visible or not. Most markers are inside solid or partly solid interiors. You need to try to visualize the interior around it.
e.g. Marker 2 can only be entered through the ceiling or through the door.

  6. "I've entered the yellow marker but nothing happened."
Do you still have the jetpack on? You have to remove it.
  7. "I landed on the San Fierro Police Department and now my jet-pack doesn't work. Why?"
Because the SFPD is partly in the RED-ZONE. This is the area where the glitch that allows your flight is cancelled out. It's probably where the game starts loading a new area.
  8. "I don't care about all this interior stuff, I just want the San Fierro Tattoos. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme."
See here: Hidden Tattoos For Beginners
  9. "Can I get to Liberty City?"
Yes. Well, it's only a section of Portland. Most of it is low resolution and not solid, but you can visit Marco's Bistro and a few outside areas. Visit Liberty City in the snow.
Unfortunately it's in the Red-Zone, so you can't just fly there.
  10. "Can I get to Vice City?"
    No.
  11. "What's all this Blue Hell /Black Hell / Heaven / Ghost World / Universe stuff all about?" My definitions:
    • Blue Hell is not really connected to interiors. It is the area below the games' ground level. In GTA3 it was blue, now it's just sky-coloured. You can get to it through areas of walls or floors that aren't solid in exterior world. This is sometimes called Underworld.
    • Ghost world is another name for the interior worlds. I would use it more when talking about those in Vice City.
    • As far as I'm concerned - World=Ground level, Hell=Below ground, Heaven=Up in the sky, Universe=Collective term for all.
    • Black Hell was a name given to some interior worlds when they were first discovered because the sky was black. Now that so many interior worlds have been found it makes more sense to either collectively refer tothem as 'interior worlds' or by their individual names.
  12. "The interior isn't where the map says it is."
Are you using a correctly aligned map? Some are Gym-aligned, some K-aligned and they can be aligned in other ways too.
  13. "What do you mean by Gym-aligned and K-aligned?"
The game doesn't notice when you teleport to a different part of the map, so when you enter the gym (and teleport to its interior high above Red County) you still appear on the map in the Ganton Gym. If you now escape the gym interior, the only map that is any use to you is one that also shows you starting at the Gym. So I would call this a Gym-Aligned map.
K-Aligned is one that shows the interiors in their actual positions. You can use these if you enter the interior universes through a K-aligned interior. These are interiors that either load inside or directly above/below their own exteriors. If they do that then the map is still showing you in your correct position, so the map doesn't have to be re-aligned.
  14. "But why is it called K-aligned, K-Universe etc? What does 'K' mean?"
It just means the normal game world. When we were listing the finds we gave each interior a designated number, and each heaven a designated letter.
About half way through the search we decided to also list those interiors that can be found in the normal exterior game world. At that point we had just labelled Binco Heaven as 'J', so Exterior world became 'K'. Simple as that.
