The following are the main Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars cheats that are usually applied during gameplay by pressing down the right key combination.

Chinatown Wars Weather Cheats

Sunny: Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, L, R
Extra sunny: Up, Down, Left, Right, B, X, L, R
Cloud: Up, Down, Left, Right, X, Y, L, R
Rain: Up, Down, Left, Right, Y, A, L, R
Lots of rain: Up, Down, Left, Right, A, X, R, L

Chinatown Wars Weapon Cheats

Weapon tier 1

While playing the game, press R, Up, B, Down, Left, R, B, Right to unlock the minigun, nightstick, Desert Eagle pistol, stubby assault rifle, mini SMG, stubby shotgun, and grenades.

Weapon tier 2

While playing the game, press R, Up, A, Down, Left, R, A, Right to unlock the mini flamethrower, taser, dual Desert Eagle pistols, assault rifle, SMG, double barrel shotgun, and Molotov cocktails.

Weapon tier 3

While playing the game, press R, Up, Y, Down, Left, R, Y, Right to unlock the big flamethrower, chainsaw, revolver, assault rifle, SMG, double barrel shotgun, and proximity mines.

Weapon tier 4

While playing the game, press R, Up, X, Down, Left, R, X, Right to unlock the rocket launcher, stubby assault rifle, baseball bat, Desert Eagle pistol, mini SMG, stubby shotgun, and flashbang grenades.

Better body armor

Successfully complete all five Vigilante mission levels with a 100% kill rate.

Immunity to fire

Successfully complete the Firefighter missions with a "Gold" rank.

Ammu-nation store discount

Earn Gold medals on all weapons at the gun club.

Gold medal for weapons

Get a score of 10,000 or more for a weapon to get a Gold medal for it.

Regenerating health

Successfully complete both noodle delivery missions with a "Gold" rank.

Miscellaneous GTA: Chinatown Wars Cheats

Upgraded delivery bag

Successfully complete both mail courier missions with a "Gold" rank.

Infinite sprint

Successfully complete all five Paramedic mission levels.

Wetscapade mini-game

There is a Wet Ski mini-game called "Wetscapade" hidden beside a small dock between Lancet and Colony Island. Find the drug dealer near the water's edge in Lancet. From his position, start walking towards the water, and you will practically fall onto the vehicle.

Avoid hotwiring cars

If you enter a car and it needs to be hotwired, simply exit and reenter the car, and it will be started and ready to drive.

Avoid paying tolls

As you approach a toll booth on a bridge, press X to exit your car. If done correctly, your car will glide through the booth. You can then get back in the car without paying the toll and not getting a wanted level.

Quickly extinguish yourself

When you are on fire (for example, after touching a flaming car), blow into the microphone to almost instantly extinguish yourself. It usually takes about two tries.

Super acceleration

While at 0 mph, hold A + Y. Release Y, and your wheels will burnout and you will go fast.

Burning burnout

Get in a very fast car or motorcycle. Hold Y + B, then hold Left or Right to do a spinning burnout. Release Y + B for a speed boosted start with a wheelie. Your burning tire tracks can burn the people behind you.

Go-Kart

Go to the bottom right corner of the first island (where Mikhail Faustin's house is in GTA 4). Go all the way down to the bottom until reaching the last house, then go three houses to the right. Go into the back garden to find a Go-Kart. Note: If it does not appear, go to the front door, and return and it will appear if you are at the correct house.

Easily complete "Store Wars"

To easily complete this mission, first get a police car, and log onto the police computer. Search for an arson crime (fire making criminals). Do the Vigilante mission as usual, but when you kill the criminals, pick up the flame-throwers. Start the "Store Wars" mission, and quickly park two cars at each end so it makes it difficult for the vans to get past. Let the vans drive towards you (or you go towards them). Equip the flame thrower, and hold A for approximately two seconds. The vans will explode very quickly.

"Here Be Dragons!" message

Take a boat to any corner of the map to see the message "Here Be Dragons!" message on the ocean floor.

Change Wanted Levels

Increase wanted level: press L(2), R, Y(2), X(2), R.
Decrease wanted level: press R, X(2), Y(2), R, L(2). Note: This code only decreases the wanted level by one star and must be repeated until it is completely removed.
Explosive Desert Eagle ammunition (turns the pistol into a rocket launcher): press L, R, X, Y, A, B, Up, Down.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Unlockables

Bulletproof Taxis

Complete dropping off 15 people in a row without the timer running out, and all taxi's will become bulletproof when you're in them.

This will not affect your "number of times cheated" stat.

Trophies

When you complete certain tasks you will be rewarded with trophies, which can be found on the trophy shelf in your apartment.

1. Silver Safe: Make $2,000 profit selling drugs.
2. Wooden Spoon: Make a loss of $500 selling drugs.
3. Platinum Syringe: Trade "Heroine."
4. Golden Binoculars: Find 40 drug dealers.
5. Diamond Pillbox: Trade the drugs "Ecstasy, Weed and Acid."
6. Jeweled Bong: Trade "Downers."
7. Jeweled Key to the City: Own all 21 safe houses in the city
8. Titanium Briefcase: Find all 80 dealers
