GTA Central is looking for more team members to join us! You've probably noticed in the last year that our network isn't as busy as it was previously, a majority of this is due to past staff members leaving or going unheard-of.

We need your help to re-launch GTA Central! Right now our team consists only of a couple of people (including myself) and we could definitely use a few more dedicated GTA fans here!

Here's some more info for you:

• NO programming/design skills required!

• GTA Central has been featured on Kotaku and in July of 2005 became a Rockstar-recognized fansite!
• GTA Central is a trusted GTA resource that was started in October of 2003!

GTA Central is in the process of doing a MAJOR software/design re-launch (most of which is already completed), now all we need are some enthusiastic team members to join us and to help get our site up!

We here at GTACentral are currently very interested in gaining new staff members.

We know it may seem like we've vanished and have left GTACentral to sit and die without any updates, but that's far from reality.

As stated before we're working on "GTACentral 2.0", completely revamping the entire network's look and function! Though due to some current staff issues things are going slower than we wish.

But don't stress, we're nearly done and you should be seeing the new GTAC soon!

The Australian magazine Gamepro magazine released the first information and screens of the upcoming GTA game, Vice City Stories.

Jarjar of GTAForums managed to get an early copy of the magazine and uploaded some scans of it.

From the magazine we now know that:

• The Main character is Victor Vance, the man we saw killed in the intro to Vice City and who is also the brother of Lance Vance.
  
• The game will take place in 1984, two years before Vice City
  
• There will be multiplayer in the game like in GTA LCS
  
• There will be new weather effects
  
• Radio stations from Vice City will return in the game
  
• There will be Helicopters and Jet-skis!
  
• Cutscenes animations will be more life like
  
• Loading times have improved
  
• There will be more interiors than there were in LCS
  
• The draw distance has once again improved
  
• There will be a reduction in clumping (where groups of the same model type appear together)

Rockstar have finally revealed the box-art for VCS, and here it is: VCS Box Art.

The main character has not yet been revealed, but I'll keep you posted when it has.
